Pomellato unveils its first brand exhibition in Shanghai, showcasing 50 years of revolutionary design and advertising campaigns. 'Art & Jewelry' offers a captivating journey through Pomellato legacy, from its disruptive beginnings to its current status as a symbol of Italian luxury.

Curated by Alba Cappellieri, Head of Jewelry Design at Politecnico di Milano, the exhibition presents over 100 jewels from past and present collections, highlighting Pomellato role in establishing the "Made in Italy" legend and its unconventional approach to contemporary jewelry design.

Structured around three distinct decades, the exhibition explores the relationship between world-renowned photographers, iconic women, and Pomellato jewelry. From the exuberant 1970s with bold chains to the vibrant 1980s featuring colorful gemstones, and the sculptural designs of the 1990s, each era showcases Pomellato evolving style and cultural impact.

Visitors will witness how the brand has consistently bridged the worlds of fashion and jewelry throughout its history, pushing the boundaries of design and creativity. Two installations provide a glimpse into Pomellato future vision.

In addition to showcasing famous portraits of iconic women such as Marisa Berenson, the exhibition also incorporates modern artworks. Chinese artist Chen Man's captivating images highlight the brand's exquisite craftsmanship and contemporary femininity, while an artistic experience by Milanese artists Alberto Maria Colombo and Anna Paladini features AI-generated portraits embodying Pomellato’s timeless women.

Art & Jewelry' is a tribute to Pomellato heritage built on artistry, hand-crafted excellence, and commitment to empowering women through fearless self-expression, offering a unique opportunity to experience the intersection of art, jewelry, and innovation.
The exhibition will be open to the public from November 3rd to November 24th at Fosun Art Foundation, in Shanghai.
