Pomellato is proud to present the Casa POM POM DOT project at the Via San Pietro all’Orto boutique for Milan Design Week 2024. The exhibition focuses on the ‘button’ motif – as a jewel, accessory, and now as a talisman. The first ‘button’ design from Pomellato was seen in a 1974 necklace from the archives, today it inspires the POM POM DOT collection.

Shaped into pendants, bracelets and earrings, the POM POM DOT ‘button’ threads together design, goldsmithing, fashion and precious gems. As an innovative double-sided jewel and symbol of connection and protection, crafted in rose gold, mother-of-pearl, malachite and diamonds.

The exhibition, showcases Secondo Stefano Pavese, a celebrated button producer since 1956, covering the history of fashion from the ‘60s to the year 2000. Both Milan-based companies, Pomellato and Secondo Stefano Pavese herald ‘Made in Italy’ design for Milan Design Week, displaying their artisanal know-how and long-standing flair for craftmanship.
